Each of these approaches offers a path to healing, but my focus has been guided by my systemizing cognitive style toward methods that align with logic, structure, and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection.

The four therapies that had the greatest influence on my healing journey include:

    • Description: A form of deep-tissue massage designed to release stored emotional tension from the body. This approach works by loosening tight muscles that hold unresolved emotions, allowing the body to process and release old memories.

    • Note: Though Les and Astrid Norton were pioneers of this approach, it appears that they no longer practice, and their method is not widely documented online.

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique):

    • Description: EFT, also known as tapping, involves tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on negative emotions to release the emotional pain stored in memories.

    • Strengths: EFT is highly effective for trauma and emotional distress due to its accessibility and simplicity. The process is quick, easy to learn, and can often bring rapid emotional relief.

  • Faster EFT:

    • Description: An evolved version of EFT that reframes issues as "software problems" created by the brain rather than "blocked energies." Faster EFT simplifies the tapping process and focuses on interrupting the brain's attempt to recreate stored emotional responses.

    • Strengths: This method leverages logical systems-thinking principles, making it particularly appealing to those who prefer a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to healing.

  • Dr. Gary Flint’s Process Healing Method:

    • Description: This method involves communicating with the mind to resolve emotional triggers, allowing the client to access deep healing without needing to consciously revisit every traumatic memory.

    • Strengths: Process Healing addresses deep-seated emotional patterns with minimal effort on the client's part, making it a gentle yet effective approach to long-term emotional freedom.

These therapies highlight the potential for transformation through emotional clearing, offering hope and practical tools for those seeking lasting relief from emotional burdens.

During these sessions, I experienced overwhelming waves of emotion that I hadn’t even realized I had suppressed. The therapists, Les and Astrid Norton, played a crucial role in helping me understand how deeply the body holds onto trauma.

I vividly remember moments of cathartic release, where tears, anger, and even laughter emerged spontaneously as the physical tension was released. The process taught me that emotional pain can remain locked in muscle memory long after the conscious mind has moved on from the initial experience. EFT involves tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on emotional memories or issues. I found the simplicity of this method incredibly empowering—it required no special equipment, and I could practice it anywhere.

In my first few sessions, I was amazed at how quickly emotional intensity could decrease, often within minutes. Tapping seemed to interrupt the brain’s usual stress response, replacing it with a sense of calm and neutrality. This effect made me realize that emotional pain is not just mental but deeply physiological.

One of the things that stood out to me was how EFT did not require the individual to relive every detail of past trauma. Instead, the focus remained on the emotional charge itself. Faster EFT: Faster EFT, or Faster Emotionally Focused Transformations, became a turning point in my healing journey as I sought a more streamlined approach to emotional clearing. This evolved version of traditional EFT reframes emotional pain not as blocked energy but as software-like programming in the brain that can be rewritten. This approach resonated strongly with my logical, systemizing cognitive style, as it treated emotional responses as patterns that could be interrupted and changed.

What captivated me most was Faster EFT’s simplicity. Instead of memorizing different tapping sequences for different traumas, it used a single, intuitive approach. This made it easy to implement in moments of emotional distress, reducing overwhelm and making the method feel more accessible.

A significant realization during my use of Faster EFT was that imagined tapping worked just as effectively as physical tapping. I could visualize the tapping sequence in my mind while focusing on the emotional trigger, and the emotional charge would still diminish. This discovery led me to question how and why this was possible, sparking a deeper exploration into the mechanics of the mind. I began to understand that the brain’s perception of the experience—whether real or imagined—was enough to create profound shifts.

This phenomenon ties into the placebo and nocebo effects, which demonstrate how beliefs and perceptions can shape physical and emotional outcomes. Just as a placebo can create real physiological changes based on the expectation of healing, imagined tapping may work by altering the brain’s neural associations and belief-driven responses. Conversely, the nocebo effect shows how negative expectations can intensify suffering, highlighting the importance of shifting internal meaning during emotional clearing.

Faster EFT helped me view my emotional responses as flexible rather than fixed. Instead of being imprisoned by my past, I saw that I had the ability to change how my brain responded to emotional triggers by altering the meanings I associated with those triggers. This realization was empowering and laid the foundation for a more intuitive understanding of self-directed emotional healing.

The effectiveness of Faster EFT in creating rapid change reinforced my belief that emotional clearing does not need to be complex to be effective. This method bridged logic and self-compassion, allowing me to create lasting emotional freedom.

Unlike the subconscious, which stores memories, habits, and emotional associations, the superconscious seemed capable of orchestrating profound changes by accessing the full context of an individual’s experiences and higher potential.

My attention was first drawn to the superconscious when I began using the Mind Mirror, a neurofeedback device that measures brainwave activity. I discovered that my gamma wave readings were exceptionally high—far above typical levels. Gamma waves are considered to be the Superconscious mind and are often linked to heightened states of awareness, cognitive integration, and spiritual insight. This observation led me to speculate that the superconscious might be the source of my heightened abilities.

My research revealed that autistic individuals can display either unusually high or low gamma wave activity. I began to wonder if unresolved trauma played a role in this variation. Having spent 25 years clearing my own emotional traumas, I hypothesized that this may have contributed to my elevated gamma levels. Consistent training with the Mind Mirror further increased my gamma activity, reinforcing the idea that the superconscious mind was involved in orchestrating complex emotional and cognitive processes.

However, at this stage, I did not yet believe that I could directly communicate with the superconscious to facilitate emotional healing. Instead, I viewed it as an overarching presence that shaped my experiences. It wasn’t until I encountered Dr. Gary Flint’s Process Healing Method that I began to see the superconscious as an active participant in the healing process—one that could be given clear, logical instructions to create profound emotional transformation.

Dr. Gary Flint’s Process Healing Method: The next major discovery in my journey was Dr. Gary Flint’s Process Healing Method. Dr. Flint developed this method as a way to communicate with the mind to resolve emotional triggers automatically, using simple, clear instructions. While he believed he was working with the subconscious mind, I became convinced that he was actually accessing the superconscious—the integrative, higher-order part of the mind that can orchestrate profound change.

The Process Healing Method works by instructing the mind to find and neutralize all associations and emotional triggers linked to specific memories. What stood out to me was how logical and structured this process was. Instead of having to relive painful memories or analyze them in detail, the mind was guided to systematically clear the emotional charge from the root.
